Hi,
I've been in higher ed my whole career. I think I would really like consulting because of the variety - I get bored easily and have moved around a fair bit seeking new challenges. As a data geek I would love to get to work with lots of different company's data. However I'm concerned about work life balance, I don't want to end up working around the clock (well, I don't actually mind if it can be done at home - but I wouldn't want to be stuck at a client site). I'm also wondering what it would be like working for a company that's ten years old, instead of 150! Anyone made this kind of move?
